Many companies regularly renew their business IT. The notebooks, PCs and smartphones are still functional, but contain sensitive data. AfB offers a certified data destruction process with subsequent high-end refurbishment to ensure that the often high-value devices are not scrapped but can be reused. The used company hardware is registered by us and the contained data is completely and irrevocably destroyed. The devices are then professionally cleaned, upgraded and receive a new operating system (Windows 10). 

Data protection begins with the collection. On request, we can provide companies with lockable safety roll containers and specially developed notebook boxes that are compliant with hazardous goods regulations. Using our own fleet of vehicles, our GDPR trained staff collects your hardware and takes it to the nearest AfB branch, where it is recorded and erased in the restricted area with restricted access and video surveillance.

All companies receive round-the-clock access to our in-house merchandise management system. There you can track the processing status of the devices and automatically receive erasure reports and data destruction certificates. 

We generate about 85% of our sales in the end customer business. We sell the refurbished computers in our stores and in the AfB online shop mainly to consumers, schools and non-profit organizations. We also offer our partners special on-site sales events.

Your employees can even reserve their own work notebook or business cell phone and purchase it for a low price after data erasure and refurbishment. Advantage: Who would like to use his/her work laptop later privately, deals more carefully with it. Employees of AfB partners receive special conditions when purchasing from AfB.

Compared to new production, the retreading of computers saves enormous amounts of resources and significantly reduces CO₂ emissions. We have the possibility to calculate precise impact figures for all partners for their corporate and CSR communication. In addition to this ecological aspect, each partner is also committed to social sustainability, as AfB is a recognized inclusion company and creates jobs for people with disabilities.
